August 21, 2009My Langham Weekend
August 12, 2009Hong Kong was enjoyable!
Well, there was more than enough food and shopping, that’s all that keeps me alive 🙂
The weather however was a little too hot for my liking, but the shopping made up for all that.
Accomodation was at Langham Place where our room was absolutely lovely! 🙂 Best part, the hotel has it’s very own Mall! 13 STOREYS worth of shops and food places! woo hoo!
My mum practically went crazy shopping for pastries, cookies at the famous cake shops Maxims and another one that I can’t recall. But yeah, the cakes were delicious! Quite frankly, I do not feel the least bit guilty from all that eating.. as I believed I’ve burned it all with all that walking. from one end of the night market to the other, then from the basement to the 13th floor of the mall. My weekend was indeed well-spent!
Now that I’m back I gotta get back to revising for my upcoming paper… and also I’m really hoping to see my Bary soon as we’ve not met for close to over a week! I miss him.
Blogging vibe is Back!
August 6, 2009Yeap, I am once again inspired to blog! As of the time now, (12.39AM, 7th August 2009) I am a day away from Hong Kong.
Kinda made a list of things to do there.. and on top of that list is EAT! oh yes! Who can resist good ol’ cantonese food?? Soup, Dim Sum, desserts, Seafood! I think my tongue wouldn’t want to return to Singapore at the end of this! haha!
Besides food, there’s the shopping too! Though its just 3 days.. I’ll try my best to make the best out of it.. and hopefully (after checking the weather conditions there..) it won’t rain on my parade..
Nonetheless, my laugguage is half-packed, leaving just my truckload of make up, and beauty products that are Oh-so essential for travel. 🙂
I’m definitely looking forward to HK, however, at the back of my mind lies my upcoming Psychology exam on 22nd August, and the 5 chapters left to study.. Urrgh…
Oh well, that’s life right? Sweet and bitter.
