What a month it has been!

March 4, 2010

In a blink of an eye, february is gone but not forgotten. Cny was a blast , literally for me since I spent it with relatives and family in cold cold Beijing. Temperatures were as slow as -5 degrees Celsius. Tour was very educational which pretty much equates to BORING!

We visited the great wall, forbidden city, tiananmen square and a couple other old historical monuments. Out of 7 days spent, shopping only happened on my last day before heading to the airport. Besides the boring itinerary, food meals included in the tour package was horrible!
Naturally one would visit china with high expectations of quality Chinese cuisine, my tour actually had me missing cheese prata, local char kway teow, carrot cake, and a great deal of mummy’s cooking!

Though I’m back, away from the bitter cold country, the heat in Singapore got me missing Beijing’s weather instantly. Yes, Singapore is currently under one of the hottest weathers in it’s history. The grass downstairs have all turned dry and golden, and while walking around town with Leonard, we were lethargic from the heat.

Bary has been working for the entire month of feb. I sure hope that pathetic excuse of a company gives him a break soon. I’m really looking forward to our weekend together!

Anyhoo school starts tomorrow, Television Production module, by the ever so tai tai Proffessor Karlie. For my last module, comparative politics, I am happy to be able to pass with a B+. Mummy’s happy too knowing how clueless I was over current affairs.

I’ll be leaving to Oklahoma on 24th April and shall be returning on the 16th. It’ll be my first time traveling on my own. I’ve got the butterflies thinking about it… Halfway round the world without my parents… It’s gonna be one he’ll of a ride I guess.

One more thing, I’ve finally gotten rid of my old telco and Sony Ericsson, and am typing this message from my one week old iPhone, Glow B.

I AM SO LOVIN’ IT!!!
